Delete Your MoneySwap Account

You can request deletion of your MoneySwap account and associated personal data at any time.

To protect your account, we may need to verify that you own the email address or phone number connected to the account before completing the request.

What we delete or anonymize

Where legally permitted, we delete or anonymize account profile information such as your name, email address, phone number, profile details, saved beneficiaries, device/session records, and other personal data associated with your MoneySwap account.

When your request is approved, we will delete or anonymize personal account data where legally permitted.

What we may retain

MoneySwap may retain some records where required for legal, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, tax, transaction monitoring, dispute resolution, or payment compliance purposes.

This may include transaction records, wallet ledger records, payment provider records, withdrawal records, identity or verification records, audit logs, fraud-prevention records, and support correspondence.

Retention periods may vary by country and legal requirement. Financial and compliance records may be retained for several years where required by applicable law.

How long deletion takes

We will review your request and may contact you to verify account ownership. We aim to process valid deletion requests as soon as reasonably possible, usually within 30 days, unless a longer period is required for legal, regulatory, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution reasons.

If you still have app access

You may also contact MoneySwap support from inside the mobile app if you still have access to your account. You do not need to reinstall or open the app to request account deletion from this page.
